A growing number of upscale restaurants — and even smaller eateries are using Apple touch-screen device to have customers check out food and drink choices. Haven’t seen one in use at a restaurant where you dine? It may not be long. Darren Tristano of the Chicago-based restaurant consulting firm Technomic says technology is becoming increasingly important to restaurants and it stands to reason that the number of tabletop ordering devices will only increase.
