YouTube is doing it’s part to help fight terrorism.

According to the “Los Angeles Times”, YouTube and its parent company, Google, have decided to let their customers flag videos that they feel promote “terrorism”. YouTube and Google have been criticized by lawmakers for refusing to prescreen videos that contain militant speeches and propaganda videos over the last five years. Rather then get involved in a 1st Amendment right fight, YouTube will rely on users to flag inappropriate videos that will then be reviewed by its employees. If the reviewers determine that the videos contain questionable material such as, nudity, animal abuse, hate speech or incite violence, they are taken down and told that they are violating the site’s terms of use.
