Apple is being sued by the insurance company of a Connecticut family whose house was badly damaged by a fire started by an Apple laptop charger.

The fire occurred in May 2008, and the Glastonbury fire marshal determined that the charger for an Apple MacBook Pro triggered the blaze. Insurance company Great Northern paid a claim of more than one-million dollars in damages, and is now seeking to recover those damages from California-based Apple.
