Social networking sites have become a resource for debt collectors to check up on people who owe them money.
So says legal experts like Dallas, Texas-based Attorney Clinton David. David advises people in debt to avoid bragging about money online.
David says people who are being hounded by collection agencies should avoid posting anything that represents wealth on networking sites, like a new vacation home or even getting a bonus at work. He says social networking has become the new art of debt collecting.
