1parade 385 Las Vegas Veterans Parade

An estimated 40-thousand people will be watching the annual Veterans Day parade in downtown Las Vegas today.

About five-thousand military personnel, along with veterans and their supporters, will make their way north along Fourth Street, between Hoover and Stewart Avenues, starting at 10:00 this morning. This year’s parade will feature more than 30 soldiers who were wounded while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. The parade is part of the city’s Veterans Week celebration, which wraps up with a Patriot Party on the Fremont Street Experience this Friday and Saturday nights.

Join KXNT Afternoon Host Alan Stock, the Master of Ceremonies for the parade, as well as the whole KXNT crew at the parade this morning.
