UNLV wide receiver Phillip Payne will return to the field this week after a two-game suspension for comments he made on Twitter. Payne did not play in UNLV’s last two games at West Virginia and Colorado State after he criticized the program and the coaching staff on his Twitter account. Head coach Bobby Hauck says Payne will start for the Rebels this Saturday night against #4 TCU at Sam Boyd Stadium, adding that the junior receiver has worked his way back onto the team. At the time he was suspended, Payne led the team with 23 receptions for 389 yards. Without him, the 1-6 Rebels struggled in blowout losses to the Mountaineers and Rams. And UNLV will need all the help it can get this week, with the Horned Frogs the highest rated team ever to play the Rebels. TCU (7-0) has won six straight against UNLV and blanked the Rebels last year in Fort Worth, 41-0.
