auburn385 Auburn Vaults to the Top

For the second straight week, there is a new number one team in college football’s BCS standings. The Auburn Tigers take over the top spot in this week’s rankings, which will determine who eventually plays for the national championship in January. Auburn is 8-0 after beating previously undefeated LSU on Saturday, while previous number one Oklahoma dropped to ninth after losing to Missouri 36-27 this weekend. Auburn bolted past Oregon and Boise State, which remain second and third respectively. TCU and Michigan State round out the BCS top five, followed by Missouri, Alabama, Utah, Oklahoma, and Wisonsin. Miami, Nevada-Reno, and Baylor are all new entrants in the BCS top 25. Meanwhile, Oregon remains number one in both the AP and USA Today coaches polls, with Boise State second and Auburn third.

  1. Anthony Hopkins says:

I really think that Auburn would stay at the top at #1 for a little while until they play Alabama later in November. They do have a tough test at Mississippi coming up later in the week. Good Luck Auburn Tigers. The BCS need to change!!!!
