The Philadelphia Phillies Ace Roy Halladay throws no hitter to beat the Reds 4-0 in game 1 of the NL division series. This marks only the second time in MLB Playoff history a no hitter has been thrown, the first coming in 1956 World Series as the Yankees Don Larson threw a perfect game against the Brooklyn Dodgers.
