The fall weather in Las Vegas is marvelous., making it an excellent time to spend time outside. It is also the perfect time to take advantage before the cold weather hits and take your dates outside. Las Vegas has many activities around town that are romantic and fun, but not so much in the hot summer or windy winters. These unique spots are great for couples going on their first date, third date or married couples going out for date night.

Lake Las Vegas is a small man-made lake resort village located just outside the city of Henderson on the way to Lake Mead. Surrounded by first class hotels, shopping, restaurants and a golf course, Montelago Village is the perfect setting for a casual night out. Stroll through the shops, stop in for a cocktail or take a gondola ride on the lake. Montelago Village also has a full roster of entertainment for fall including the Saturday Night Jazz On The Lake (Saturdays through November 2), Shakespeare in the Park and the New Vista Wine Walk.

Gondola Rides at The Venetian Las Vegas

You don’t have to get on a plane to take a gondola ride through the streets of Venice. Las Vegas’ own Venetian Resort Hotel Casino has created a mini Venice complete with palazzos, cobblestone streets and water canals that loop through the resort. Rides take place on the Grand Canal, complete with an authentic Venetian gondola and a singing gondolier. Tickets are $18.95 or $75.80 for a private gondola. Outdoor rides begin at 10 a.m. and run through midnight daily. After your ride, continue your date with a walk through the shops or dinner canal side at one of the many fine dining restaurants.

Even if you can’t golf like Phil Mickelson, you can still have a great time at Angel Park Golf Course. Casual golfers will enjoy the “Cloud Nine” course, a mini nine-hole, par-three course that mimics some of the most famous holes in the world. The course will only take up a couple of hours and is a unique date activity for day or night. Green fees for locals are only $10 per person. A golf cart is an additional $10 per person and club rentals are available.

Take your date on a tour of the visual history of Las Vegas with a visit to downtown’s Neon Museum. For many years, curators accumulated discarded and unwanted neon signs from Las Vegas landmarks in hopes that they would be able to open the museum to the public. View the signs in all their glory on the illuminated night tour of the Neon Museum. Tickets for the night tour are $22 per person for Nevada residents and tours begin at 7:30 p.m. nightly, contingent on the season.

When you think of romance, you can’t help thinking of Paris. Luckily, Las Vegas has its own version Paris including a smaller version of the Eiffel Tower. Named one of the most romantic places in Las Vegas, the Eiffel Tower rides takes you 46 stories above the city for breathtaking views of the Strip and nearby attractions such as the Dancing Fountains of the Bellagio. On your way down, stop into the famous Eiffel Tower Restaurant for a cocktail or a gourmet French meal. If you play your cards right, you might end up returning for the restaurant’s famous proposal package. Tickets start at $10.50 for daytime viewing or $15.50 at night.
