LAS VEGAS–As media members were crammed inside the tiny but popular Gold and Silver Pawn Shop on the strip, Florida Senator Marco Rubio used the appearance as part of a campaign stop.
If Gold & Silver sound familiar, it serves as the back drop for the reality television show Pawn Stars.
Senator Rubio spent about 15 minutes speaking with reporters and fielding questions about how Obama Care needs to be repealed, how he feels the health insurance problem facing Americans needs to be repaired and how we can modernize the current immigration system.
Rubio spent part of his childhood in Southern Nevada, touched on at least one state-specific topic in his last pre-campaign visit to Las Vegas: highlighting his opposition to online gaming during a book about 3-months ago.
The U.S. senator also answered a question on storing nuclear waste at Yucca Mountain.
