LAS VEGAS (AP) — Federal education officials are giving Nevada millions of dollars to expand preschool programs in the state. Gov. Brian Sandoval and state Superintendent Dale Erquiaga said the first year’s award is more than $6.4 million, and the state could potentially get more than $43 million over four years. Money will go toward preschools in Clark, Washoe, Lyon, Churchill and Nye counties.
