HOLLYWOOD (CBS Las Vegas) – Fanboys and Sci-Fi lovers have been geeking out over the teaser for the upcoming Star Wars movie.

Since it was released Thanksgiving weekend, the trailer has been viewed by millions of people around the world, creating a huge wave of excitement for the J.J. Abrams-helmed “Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.,”

But the one man you’d think would be most interested in the next chapter of the Star Wars saga says he’t not curious about it at all.

George Lucas tells Page Six: “I don’t know anything about it. I haven’t seen it yet.”

When asked why, Lucas explained he has no curiosity about Episode 7, but he does plan to see it when it is released in the theaters in December of next year.

“I like going to the movies and watching the whole thing there,” he said.

Lucas sold the rights to Star Wars to Disney for $4 billion in 2012.
