(Las Vegas, NV)  —  The calendar may say spring, but it will feel like summer in the Las Vegas Valley.

The National Weather Service says daytime highs are expected to reach 100 degrees today through Thursday, so be prepared.

Keep hydrated and avoid caffeine and alcohol, stay indoors as much as possible, and avoid strenuous work or exercise during the hottest part of the day.  And be sure to keep your pets in a cool place with plenty of drinking water.
