(Carson City, NV)  —  After two years of declines, wages for Nevada workers are on the rise.  According to the state Department of Employment, the average wage last year was $829 a week, up 1.3% percent from 2010.  Chief economist Bill Anderson says it’s another sign Nevada’s economy is recovering from the recession.  But he warns wages aren’t keeping pace with inflation.  In 2011, consumer prices went up 3.2%.
