(Las Vegas, NV)  —  Shania Twain is getting ready for her upcoming Las Vegas show.  “The Las Vegas Sun” says the country star is now in Vegas and has begun pre-production on “Shania: Still The One,” her upcoming show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.  An insider tells the newspaper that Shania got an unexpected chance to “walk, dance and sing onstage” last week, when illness forced Celine Dion to cancel a show.  The insider explains that Twain “wanted to get the feel of the building” and “know where her band and the crew would be hanging out.”  Shania reportedly checked out the dressing rooms and the sound system at the venue.  The source adds that Shania is “really excited, and everybody already knows she’s on the right track as the new family is being built around her.”

Twain is planning on making her concert comeback with “Shania: Still The One,” which will begin a two-year run at The Colosseum on December 1st.  It’s been several years since Shania has performed live.  After experiencing a difficult divorce in 2008, she developed a vocal ailment that kept her from singing.  Shania’s last tour was in 2004, in support of her album, “Up!”
