A fire caused an estimated 30-thousand damages to a Henderson home Sunday afternoon. Officials say it happened just before 6 p.m. on Inness Avenue, near Sunset and Pabco Roads. Battalion Chief Tim McKeever says the blaze started in the home’s attic and was quickly put out. The homeowner made it out safely, and a dog and cat were rescued by fire crews. No one was hurt, and the cause is still under investigation. The local Red Cross is helping the homeowner.
