Las Vegas has some of the best bars with billiards to rival any other city in the US. You can visit a highly rated rock’n’soul bar, a premium billiard parlor or simply rack ’em up at a neighborhood joint. All of these bars have their own charm and all are a fun way to unwind while enjoying a pint or two. From sophistication and a rocking good time to a quiet, intimate pub to visit with friends, once again, there’s no where like Vegas to find the right fit.
601 E. Fremont St
Las Vegas, NV 89101
This new downtown bar and billiard parlor is wildly popular and highly touted among the locals and guests to Las Vegas. Located on Fremont Street – an institution unto itself – Backstage offers music (rock and soul), drink specials, great billiards tables and the character and creative genius of DJ Lethal, Ava and Big Daddy Carlos. The music library is extensive and the sound of the balls hitting is a counterpoint to the wail from the speakers, while the huge screen behind the bar showcases legendary concert moments. The walls, counters and shelves are festooned with over half a million dollars worth of memorabilia, making the place a showcase for entertainment and one of the best billiards joints in town.

1801 E. Tropicana Ave.
Las Vegas, NV 89119
Rum Runner has often been touted as the best family-owned pool bar in town frequented by locals. With three locations, it’s accessible to players looking for a little action in their neighborhoods, as well as visiting players wanting to participate in tournaments. The Tropicana Avenue location specializes in international-quality and B local pool tournaments, while the DI location’s draw is primarily dart games, with a dart equipment shop on site. League teams are welcome and there is always room for one more. The food is typical pub grub, but is tastier than at most places.
10940 S. Eastern Ave.
Henderson, NV 89052
PT’s has a number of locations throughout the Vegas Valley, but this Henderson location has it all: it’s cozy, comfortable, quiet, relatively smoke-free and is the perfect place to call your “home away from home.” PT’s is a pub where you can catch a game of pool while watching the game on numerous TVs scattered throughout. You can alternate games of chance with a visit to the bar to enjoy reasonably priced beverages. The restaurant has good food at a great cost. Don’t expect organized pool tournaments, but you may just find an enjoyable game that you can join, or who knows, you may want to start a game of your own. It’s just that sort of place.
