Las Vegas is blessed with many wonderful places at which you can spend a day with the kids. During inclement weather, you can take shelter in a state-of-the-art Children’s Museum, visit an indoor amusement center with mini golf, visit with other parents while your children get rid of all of their excess energy at a deluxe indoor playground or race cars at an indoor track. Who said there was nothing for kids to do in Las Vegas?

Las Vegas’ new Discovery Children’s Museum provides a wealth of learning opportunities for children of all ages (and their parents), with nine exhibits, including The Summit, Eco City, Toddler Town, Solve It, Water World and Fantasy Festival. Children have the ability to explore flight, magnets, simple machines, light and sound, Earth, space and water, practical life skills and green living. Wee guests can crawl, touch, role-play and explore their environment while older guests can solve questions about the mysteries encased within the museum in order to complete a puzzle. Fantasy Festival gives all ages the chance to let their imaginations take flight and soar as they bring stage productions to light, dress up and design their own castles or “live” aboard ships and learn about pirates, raise a flag or fire a cannon.
