Although attention to the holidays in Las Vegas can get lost in the year-round lighting extravaganza that dominates the town, many not-to-be-missed holiday concerts make their way to local venues. Visitors and locals in Las Vegas can enjoy a myriad of holiday-themed concerts sure to get them into the winter spirit. For concert cheer during the holidays that is fun for the whole family, check out this preview of wintertime shows in Las Vegas.

Take a trip down memory lane on a sleigh with Deana Martin, daughter of famed Rat Pack singer Dean Martin, as she performs holiday favorites and spins memories of her family’s traditional Christmas celebrations in tribute to the “Dean Martin Christmas Show.” This event will feature classic tunes like “Silver Bells,” “Winter Wonderland” and “White Christmas.” It will be held in the intimate Cabaret Jazz venue at The Smith Center.

The Irish Tenors, a singing trio featuring Finbar Wright, Ronan Tynan and Anthony Kearns, will also be making a stop at the impressive 2,000-plus-seat Reynolds Hall venue at The Smith Center on The Premiere Irish Holiday Celebration Tour. This group, which hails from Ireland and has produced nine albums of music, will perform holiday songs and Irish classic melodies. The Irish Tenors performance is at 7:30 p.m. on November 27.

Special guests to this event include Oscar Goodman and Mayor Carolyn Goodman, who will narrate “A Night Before Christmas,” and the Foothill High School drum line, who will be performing “Little Drummer Boy.” Come out to see renowned Broadway-veteran vocalists Travis Cloer, who plays Frankie Valli in the Las Vegas production of “Jersey Boys,” and Niki Scalera, who has played a number of starring and supporting rules in Broadway and touring musicals like “Footloose,” “Tarzan” and “Hairspray.” This concert is the second of four concerts in the Las Vegas Philharmonic Pops Series.

The Springs Preserve, a popular 180-acre local attraction that features nature displays, botanical gardens and hiking trails, will be decorated in a display of eco-friendly lighting for a holiday celebration. Entertainment at the celebration includes Santa pictures, train rides and pony rides as well as nightly live musical performances. This event runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on select days.

Enjoy the famed, flashy, progressive-rock holiday light show right in the heart of Las Vegas. Trans-Siberian Orchestra is an act that is famous worldwide for its bright, lightly choreographed holiday musical arrangements. For family friendly, Elvis-themed holiday entertainment, check out “The King of Rock ‘N Roll Elvis Holiday and Tribute Show” in the M Pavilion at M Resort. Award-winning Elvis tribute artist Steve Connolly will perform holiday songs and Elvis hits. Connolly has performed as Elvis thousands of times and has also appeared in the movie “3000 Miles to Graceland.” The show starts December 8 at 7:30 p.m. and doors open at 6 p.m.
