Reason why place is best of: Awesome pool with lots of pretty skinny people and they have the most amazing Pineapple Mojitos in the world. They also have really good Kobe Beef Burgers so if you are too lazy to grill out, like me, you can go there
4. Out In The Sun
Hopefully over Memorial Day weekend, you can get out of town, but maybe not too far. Hiking and camping is always a plus!! Weekend hiking at Red Rock or Mt Charleston is always fun. And there camping isn’t bad either. You can also head to Lake Mead or down to Laughlin and camp on the river. Even making the trek up to Utah and going to Zion National Forest can be a great time with the family.

5. The Orleans
If you’re looking for a place to celebrate Memorial Day I would suggest Hittin’ The Orleans for a little staycation. I like to get a room for a couple nights, grab a bite to eat at T.G.I. Fridays, maybe slide on up to the movie theater and catch a flick, then wind up at the Alligator bar for a night cap. That’s day one… day two I’ll leave up to you.
6. Sunset Park
Address: 2601 E Sunset Rd Las Vegas, NV 89120
URL: http://www.sunsetcities.com/sunset-park/index.html
Hours of operation: Sunrise to 10pm
Reason why place is best of: Sunset park is a great place to celebrate Memorial Day because you’re outside enjoying life. This park allows for all of your outdoor needs. There are barbequing areas, play grounds for the kids, basketball courts and tennis courts. There is a Frisbee golf course, volleyball pits and large grassy areas to run around. Sunset Park is also very special because there is a pond, with ducks that you can feed and you can even fish.
Happy Memorial Day!
7. Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel
10am-close cover charge $40 for men $20 for women
Why burn in the Las Vegas sun when you can lounge by the pool? Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel pool is always the place to go to see great musical acts perform and maybe even see one of your favorite celebrities! It’s one of the “hippest” places to see and be seen!
