The NFL playoff race is in full swing, but there are a number of players that won’t be around to be a part of it. The Cowboys, Packers, Broncos and Rams have all suffered serious injuries to big-name players that could linger on for the rest of this season and possibly even into the next.
There are a lot of big storylines going on around the NFL right now and they span more than just the playoff race. Actually, the Packers are hoping for a big return soon just so they can get into the playoffs, but other stories have to deal with an interfering coach and an early day in London for next season.
The endless genius of the NFL can’t be completely quantified. But part of pro football’s popularity is burning its image in our culture and our consciousness. While baseball and basketball have their July 4 and Christmas brands, they are afterthoughts, or leftovers, compared to the NFL’s hallmark roll call.
Injuries can cause a player to take time off from their team and sometimes that means the entire season. When injuries heal, it is time for those players to return and hopefully make a return sooner rather than later. For others? Injuries can mean coming full circle back to the place where it all began.
Injuries are truly crippling some teams in the NFL as the season begins its ride toward the playoffs. One player will finally be on the field for his new team and he’ll ironically face his old team. A Houston Texan is done for the year and won’t have to suffer much longer. In Green Bay, the Packers are dealing with a problem that they haven’t had in decades.
The NFL can actually bring about a wide range of emotions all in the course of a couple of days. The New England Patriots brought about confusion and anger. The Green Bay Packers brought about fear and concern. The Tennessee Titans brought about tears and sadness.
There were a large number of injuries in Week 7 of the 2013 NFL season, and some of them proved to be quite serious. Some teams are really worried though because a few of the injuries happened to back-up players that were already filling in for injured starters.
Week 5 of the NFL saw a number of big-time things happen, and not all of them were good. A few teams suffered some setbacks and those include injuries that could greatly affect the team’s immediate future.

Week 2 of the 2013 NFL season brought about so many close games that fans didn’t have a clue which game to tune into so they could get the best action. Now, Week 3 has come and gone, and it was full of so many upsets that no one knew what was going on or who to believe in.
