An internal review by the Los Angeles Police Department concluded that rogue ex-officer Christopher Dorner was justifiably fired, a lawyer who reviewed the findings told The Associated Press on Tuesday.
As law enforcement swarmed a mountain neighborhood searching for the fugitive ex-cop, Dorner hid in a condominium 100 feet across the street from a command post and a short distance where he left his burned-out truck.
He styled himself as a Rambo-like guerrilla, someone trained to outwit and outshoot the police at every turn, and while Christopher Dorner left no doubt he could be unforgivingly violent, when it came to keeping ahead of the law during his deadly rampage, he made one mistake after another.
LAPD Cmdr. Andy Smith Tuesday urged triple-murder suspect Christopher Dorner to turn himself in as a gun battle and barricade situation between the quadruple-murder suspect and authorities raged on in San Bernardino County.
Today Pope Benedict VXI did what no pope has done in more than five hundred years, announcing his resignation and sending the already troubled Catholic Church scrambling to replace the leader of its 1 billion followers by Easter.
Las Vegas and Henderson police have taken steps to protect their officers as they help search for accused killer and former cop Christopher Dorner.
