The Dallas Cowboys battle the Houston Texans in week five of the 2014 NFL season and will have to combat the best defensive lineman in the NFL today.
It was an ugly, ugly day for the Oakland Raiders in their 2014 home opener, as the offense couldn’t get anything going until late, and the defense did a Swiss cheese impression from the opening whistle.
The Oakland Raiders gave up 402 yards in their opener against the New York Jets on the road, even though they gave up just 19 points. Some of that was due to the Jets QB struggling to hold on to the ball, of course, but the Silver & Black defense will need to be a lot tougher at home in Week Two for the Raiders to emerge victorious against an efficient Houston Texans offense.

A Houston Texan is done for the year and won’t have to suffer much longer. In Green Bay, the Packers are dealing with a problem that they haven’t had in decades.
There were a large number of injuries in Week 7 of the 2013 NFL season, and some of them proved to be quite serious. Some teams are really worried though because a few of the injuries happened to back-up players that were already filling in for injured starters.
