Heidi is thrilled to be back at KXNT, where she landed her first PAID radio gig in 1999!
Heidi Harris is a Las Vegas native and 17 year talk radio and cable TV veteran. Named
a “2014 Distinguished Woman of Nevada”, her passion is talking about her hometown
and standing up for principle, combined with great storytelling, guests and interaction
with her listeners.

She began her talk radio career in 1998 in Las Vegas, taking open lines calls in the
middle of the night. This year marks her 17th in talk radio, including a stint in Los
Angeles/Riverside California, where she hosted morning drive in two markets
simultaneously. Since 2004, Heidi has appeared as a commentator on Cable News
channels hundreds of times, including Fox News, CNN and MSNBC.

She’s won two Electronic Media Awards, and has been named numerous times by
Talker’s Magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential Talk Hosts in America.

On early Sunday morning, an erratic suspect, now identified as Tashii Brown of Las Vegas, died while in the custody of the LVMPD after they applied a “neck restraint” technique to subdue him. The ACLU is now calling for the end of what they call an end of the “choke hold” procedure by the LVMPD.
