Former UNLV coach Jerry Tarkanian who coached in four Final Fours and won the National Championship with the Rebels in 1990, has made the cut for The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame which was announced Friday, at NBA All-Star Weekend in Houston.

A painting honoring UNLV and Jerry Tarkanian, head coach of the 1990 National Championship-winning Runnin’ Rebels, will be unveiled this Thursday, Jan. 24, during the game against Wyoming at the Thomas & Mack Center.
The Runnin’ Rebels are completely out of the Top 25 for the first time this season.
