HENDERSON, Nev. (KXNT) — Police are looking into the death of an elderly Henderson man who hadn’t been seen in weeks as suspicious, according to authorities.
The man’s body was found inside the home on the 2500 block of Swans Chance Avenue in Henderson around 7:30 p.m. Saturday, a Henderson city statement reported.
Officers were there to do a welfare check on the man, who neighbors reported hadn’t been seen or heard from since early November. The man was in his mid-70s. His name was not immediately released pending family notification.
Following the results of a preliminary autopsy Sunday, Henderson investigators are looking into the death as a potential homicide, citing suspicious injuries found on the man’s body.
