NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) — Fire officials say a blaze in North Las Vegas last week has now claimed the lives of two adults and a child.
City fire officials said Monday that a man died over the weekend as a result of injuries sustained in Thursday’s blaze and a woman and a girl died Monday.
Officials did not release the names or ages of the victims, but neighbors told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that they were 78-year-old Ignacio Meza, his wife Maria Meza and their 6-year-old granddaughter.
Crews responded Thursday evening to a fire at a single-story home on St. George Street. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
