LAS VEGAS (KXNT) – The second of two suspects accused of killing a man inside his Las Vegas home during a home invasion attack earlier this month was arrested Thursday, according to authorities.
Jorge Latorre was located by the region’s Criminal Apprehension Team in the area of West Tropicana Avenue and South Jones Boulevard and taken into custody, a Las Vegas Metro Police statement reported.
Detectives believe Latorre, 25, and Cody Sullivan, 18, were responsible for shooting and killing 35-year-old Thomas Jones during the home invasion robbery at Jones’ home on the 6300 block of Sandpiper Way on November 5.
The robbery was believed to be drug-related.
Sullivan was arrested last week.
Latorre was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on charges of murder, armed burglary, armed robbery and possession of burglary tools.
