NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) — Authorities are reviewing a shooting in which an armed man allegedly trying to rob a North Las Vegas convenience store was killed.
The man shot Thursday has been identified by the Clark County coroner as 24-year-old Rashad Ryan of North Las Vegas.
According to police, preliminary information indicates that a vendor’s employee man working in the store saw a clerk being held at gunpoint and shot the suspect.
The suspect then fled the store but collapsed nearby.
Police spokeswoman Ann Cavaricci says authorities were reviewing the incident to decide whether the shooter will be prosecuted.
