LAS VEGAS (KXNT) – Investigators hope video surveillance will help lead to the arrest of two suspects in a drug-related home invasion attack over the weekend that left one man dead, according to authorities.
The video shows the two men investigators believe carried out the attack on the home on the 6300 block of Sandpiper Way on Saturday, a Las Vegas Metro Police statement reported.
The video follows the two men as they enter the victim’s home, followed by a gunshot.
Following 911 calls, officers arrived just after 2 p.m. Saturday to find the victim dead. Investigators said they believe the attack and killing were drug-related.
One suspect was last seen wearing a checkered shirt, while the other was wearing a white shirt and carrying a black backpack. Both men arrived in a stolen yellow moving truck that was later found by officers parked around the corner from the victim’s home.
Anyone with information about the suspects or the attack were asked to contact LVMPD Homicide Section at 702-828-3521 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
