LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say a suspect who wounded two people with one gunshot during an argument on a Las Vegas Strip pedestrian bridge was arrested minutes later in a nearby parking garage.
Las Vegas police Capt. Christopher Tomiano said Monday the two men who were wounded were hospitalized with injuries that aren’t believed to be life-threatening after the 2:20 a.m. shooting on the walkway between the Cosmopolitan and Planet Hollywood resorts.
Police said 26-year-old Rashad Jackson was arrested with a 9mm handgun believed to have been used in the shooting, and was being held on attempted murder and other charges.
Jail records show that Jackson is due for an initial court appearance Tuesday, when he is expected to get an appointed attorney.
Tomiano said the argument may have been about drugs.
