Two Injured in North Las Vegas Arson Fire, Suspect in Custody

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) — Two people were injured in what is suspected to have been a fire caused by arson in North Las Vegas.

One man has been taken into custody after the Monday night fire on the 2300 block of East Nelson Avenue, near Las Vegas Boulevard North and Civic Center Drive that caused an estimated $20,000 in damage.

One of the people injured was taken to University Medical Center for treatment. The other was treated at the scene.

The suspect’s identity has not been released at this time.
