NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) — North Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting overnight that has left one man dead.
Authorities say officers were called shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday about a possible shooting on the 3000 block of East Wright Avenue.
Upon their arrival, they found a 19-year-old man with a gunshot wound.
He was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators say the attack does not appear to be random and a small blue pickup truck may be involved.
The victim’s identity and official cause of death will be determined by the coroner.
