LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police say a man in a pickup truck rammed a bicyclist through a cinder-block wall and fled the scene without calling 911. The bicyclist died a few days after the crash.

The Las Vegas Sun reports that officers say they found 42-year-old Jeremy Clark severely injured in a backyard on Sunday evening. Their report says Clark’s bicycle was under a truck, a case of beer was inside the vehicle and an empty beer was in the cup holder.

Police say the 43-year-old suspect abandoned the car and was seen running from the crash. He was arrested at his house, which was a few blocks away from the scene.

Police say the man failed multiple sobriety tests and was booked at the Clark County Detention Center.
