NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nevada (AP) — A restaurant in the Silver Nugget Casino in North Las Vegas has reopened after a customer posted on Facebook that she was bitten by bedbugs while dining there.

Hometown Kitchen shut down Monday for an inspection by the Southern Nevada Health District after the woman posted on Facebook a photo showing clusters of bedbugs under a table and along a wall at the business, as well as welts on her legs that resulted from bites.

Southern Nevada Health District spokeswoman Stephanie Bethel confirmed bedbugs were found at the facility.

The restaurant has been allowed to reopen and will create an integrated pest management plan.

Silver Nugget officials say the facility is sprayed by pest-control workers weekly and that they are taking measures to ensure health and safety.
