LAS VEGAS (KNXT) – Investigators are trying to piece together what led to the central valley shooting death of a man struck with several bullets at close range Thursday, according to authorities.
Las Vegas Metro police officers responding to a shooting call in an alley along the 400 block of North Circle just before 8 p.m. Thursday found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, a LVMPD statement reported.
The man was transported to Sunrise Hospital, where he died a short time later.
Detectives said the man was shot several times at close range in the alley. No suspect was immediately identified and the motive for the killing was not known.
