LAS VEGAS (KXNT) – While many police departments around the U.S. are staving off a variety of criticism over police conduct, the Las Vegas Metro Police Department actively wants area residents to tell them how they’re doing.

The department is encouraging Las Vegas and Clark County residents and visitors to full out an online SurveyMonkey survey, offering their opinion on the perception of the department among those the LVMPD serve.

“Your response to this survey is crucial in providing Sheriff Joe Lombardo and his staff the necessary information to formulate useful programs in an effort to complete its mission to serve people, strengthen relationships and improve the quality of life,” read the statement issued by the department.
