LAS VEGAS (KXNT) – Police had one person detained following reports of a possibly armed man at a northwest Las Vegas shopping complex Tuesday, according to authorities.

Officers responded to the 7000 block of North Durango Drive, near Elkhorn Drive just after 1:30 p.m., Las Vegas Police confirmed.

Police officials said one person was being held, possibly in connection with a robbery at the T.J. Maxx store at the location.

There were no reports of any gunfire or injuries. Police closed Grand Montecito Parkway between Elkhorn and Deer Springs Way as a precaution. The area was reopened around 3:30 p.m.
