NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) — North Las Vegas police say they haven’t arrested anyone after a man was shot dead on a sidewalk in what may have been a robbery.

Authorities say the shooting happened at about 6 a.m. Saturday near Tonopah Avenue and Stocker Street.

They found a 51-year-old man had been shot, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives say they believe the man may have been robbed in the encounter. They’re asking anyone with information to call the North Las Vegas Police Department.
