LAS VEGAS (KXNT) – Investigators are looking for a suspect in an attack and sexual assault against an employee at a Las Vegas hotel, according to authorities.

The attack happened in one of the rooms at the hotel on the 4100 block of Boulder Highway around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, a Las Vegas police statement reported.

Detectives said an employee of the hotel was inside a hotel room when the suspect entered, attacked and sexually assaulted the victim. The man fled when another hotel employee came to the door.

The victim was transported to the University Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.

Images of the suspect were captured on hotel security video. He is described as a light-skinned black man between 25 and 30 years old with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a red and black baseball cap, a red and black striped shirt, and grey shorts with green patches on the inside of the legs.

Anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of the suspect was asked to call the LVMPD Sexual Assault Section at 702-828-4389.
