LAS VEGAS (AP) — A death penalty trial has been reset for a man accused of robbing two Las Vegas pharmacies in December 2014, and of killing a clerk he used to work with at one of them.

Court records show that Jin William Young Ackerman’s trial was reset Thursday to May 2017 in Clark County District Court.

The 27-year-old Ackerman has pleaded not guilty to murder, kidnapping, armed robbery and burglary with a weapon charges.

He’s accused of robbing Walgreens stores at gunpoint, and shooting 58-year-old Antonino Isnit to death during the second robbery.

His trial had been due to start next week.
