SPARKS, Nev. (AP) — A teenage girl was stabbed at Sparks Marina after getting into an altercation.
Sparks police said in a release Sunday that the 17-year-old girl was recovering from non-life-threatening injuries.
According to authorities, the alleged attack happened around 3:45 p.m. Saturday.
The Reno Gazette-Journal reports that officers found the teen and she was transported to a hospital but released a short time later.
Police say she got into a fight with someone not known to her and she was stabbed with an unknown weapon.
Investigators have not released a description of a suspect.
