LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police say a man was shot to death outside an apartment complex and no arrests have been made.

Police say the central Las Vegas shooting was reported just before 7 a.m. Sunday.

Officers responding found the victim with a gunshot wound.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to investigators, the victim got into a heated argument with several people in the parking lot minutes before the shooting.

After the shooting, people were seen running away and then multiple vehicles fled the complex.

Police are still trying to determine a motive and identify a suspect.

The shooting puts the number of homicides investigated by Vegas police so far this year past 100.
