LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas police identified a suspect who allegedly pulled out a gun and shot another man in the leg during an argument at a southeast valley bar earlier this month, according to authorities.
Investigators said Carlos Pineda is believed to have been the gunman involved in the shooting at Dotty’s Tavern on the 4200 block of Boulder Highway around 10:30 p.m. on July 7, a Las Vegas Metro police statement reported.
Witnesses told detectives Pineda, 20, was with a group of men who confronted the victim and engaged in a verbal argument in the bar. Pineda allegedly pulled the weapon and shot the victim in the leg. Pineda and the other men were last seen leaving the scene in a red 4-door sedan.
The victim was taken to Sunrise Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
