LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas investigators are trying to piece together what led to the murder of a woman found inside her southeast valley home early Wednesday, according to authorities.
Officers arrived at the condominium complex on the 3200 block of Dawnflower Street just before 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Inside the condo, police found the woman’s body with obvious signs of a possible homicide, although authorities would not comment on the manner of her death. The woman was found after a cleaning crew arrived at the home to do a scheduled cleaning. Employees entered the home, discovered the woman’s body and called police.
The victim was the sole occupant of the home. Detectives determined she was killed inside the residence some time between 2 p.m. Tuesday and early Wednesday morning.
The killing was the 98th homicide investigated by Las Vegas Metro police officers this year. Anyone with information about the murder was asked to contact the LVMPD Homicide Section at 702-828-3521, or by email at email@example.com.
