LAS VEGAS (AP) — Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is returning to Las Vegas for a union convention and a voter registration event in the wake of a new major endorsement.
Clinton is scheduled to visit Tuesday for the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees’ conference, which will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
After the conference, she’s set to visit a voter registration event at the Culinary Academy Training Center in North Las Vegas. The academy partners with the powerful Culinary Union, whose parent organization, Unite Here, announced Tuesday that it was endorsing Clinton.
The former secretary of state’s visit comes as Republicans are holding their convention in Cleveland.
Clinton came to Las Vegas in May for a conference hosted by the United Food & Commercial Workers International Union.
