LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities say three people have been injured after a suspect crashed a stolen vehicle in Henderson.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that the incident was reported to the Nevada Highway Patrol a little after 5 a.m. Sunday.

According to Trooper Chelsea Stuenkel, a man driving a stolen Jeep Grand Cherokee from California was heading toward Las Vegas.

A trooper saw the SUV around 5:50 a.m. and then it crashed into a sedan and a barrier wall.

Stuenkel says the 21-year-old suspect and two occupants in the sedan were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, westbound lanes of St. Rose Parkway and an on-ramp for I-15 were closed so investigators could work the scene.
