G-Eazy Brings His Non-Stop Party to DTLV

G-Eazy is no stranger to Life Is Beautiful.

The Bay Area-bred rapper was still fledgling when he was booked for the festival in 2014. But by the time he hit the Huntridge Stage—the festival’s smallest platform—in October of that year, he had already outgrown it. His major label debut, These Things Happen, had torpedoed to No. 3 on the Billboard charts.

He was selling out headlining tours and performing on national television. Fast-forward to 2016 and the 26-year-old is as unstoppable as his hometown NBA basketball team, thanks to the success of last year’s When It’s Dark Out and the inescapable “Me, Myself & I.” Unlike many of his rap peers, the pretty boy Man in Black has proven to be more than a viral sensation.
