LAS VEGAS (KXNT) – Investigators are looking for two young men believed to have gunned down a 17-year-old victim in a Las Vegas apartment complex Monday evening, Las Vegas police officials said.

Officers arrived at the complex on the 2700 block of North Decatur Boulevard around 6:30 p.m. Monday following reports of gunfire and a man down on the ground, according to a LVMPD statement.

The victim, identified as Robert Joseph Bustos II, was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Investigators determined Bustos, 17, was seen near two men just prior to the gunfire. Those suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.

Detectives said the suspects were described as Hispanic men in the their 20s. One of the suspects wore his hair in a ponytail.
