LAS VEGAS (KXNT) – Detectives are working to put together what led to the stabbing death of a man whose body was found inside his Las Vegas apartment last week, according to police officials.
Officers arrived after the apartment manager of the complex on the 3600 block of Arville Street reported receiving complaints of a strong odor coming from the unit on July 7, a LVMPD statement reported.
Inside, police found the man’s body with multiple stab wounds. The victim was identified as the apartment’s registered tenant. The man’s name and a possible timeframe for his death were not immediately released.
Detectives said no suspects were in custody in connection with the killing and the motive was unknown.
The murder is the 94th homicide investigated by LVMPD homicide detectives in 2016.
